York Festival of Ideas Brand Identity
Speculative Project November 2025
York Festival of Ideas is an annual event that features a range of talks and exhibitions aiming to enhance the city of York's reputation as a centre of innovation and ideas. I undertook this speculative design project as I thought the visual branding of the festival had lots of potential and I enjoyed thinking about how to distill the festivals values into a new logo. I wanted to create a brand identity that felt modern but approachable and fun, using bold shapes and energetic colours.
